I’ve been preparing for the 2022 Latin America International Championships in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and I’m here to share some of my early findings. At the time of my writing, this article set has basically been fully released, we have limited official English images, but I have a bunch of Japanese translations from trustworthy sites. I guess what I’m trying to say is that it is early, so don’t necessarily come after me if some of these card names slightly change when translated into English or if there is an amazing card that I happened to miss out on. Top 5 Cards in Pokemon GO

Top 5 Cards in Pokemon GO

Pokemon GO, our newest Pokemon TCG set, brings the best aspects of the Pokemon TCG and the hit mobile game Pokemon GO. In this celebratory mini-set, the goal is to strengthen the bond between different areas of our Pokemon community, but there are quite a few cards that might end up seeing success at the upcoming 2022 Pokemon World Championships in London. Recently Pokemon announced that the upcoming Lost Origins set will be delayed which means that Astral Radiance will be our latest main set and Pokemon GO will be the differentiating factor heading into Worlds. Furthermore, our usual rotation of cards that happens in August / September has been pushed to early 2023 to bring us closer to Japan’s set legality. The goal of this article is to offer my fresh perspective on the best cards in the Pokemon GO TCG set for competitive play. I don’t always get these 100% right, but I love to share my competitive insight with our community! Let’s jump into these great cards.

Also featured are brand-new Pokémon VSTAR, which evolve from Pokémon V and come equipped with a mighty VSTAR Power, a special Ability or attack that can turn the tide of a battle. Top 5 Evolving Skies Cards

Top 5 Evolving Skies Cards

Evolving Skies, our newest Pokemon TCGO set, adds many fan-favorite Pokemon into the TCG and there are many new card strategies to discover. Of course, there is the mighty Rayquaza VMAX (Evolving Skies) that soars high, many “Eevee”-lution Pokemon that seem amazing, and of course many new Pokemon like Regidrago (Evolving Skies) that appear in the TCG for the first time. Arguably this is one of the craziest sets ever because it seems like a handshake between the competitive player base and the collectors in this game - many cards are competitive and would be an amazing showpiece in a collection. I love this set and I’m amped to share my personal top five cards so far! I love how this set continuously grows both the Single Strike and Rapid Strike mechanic, has some of the best art that we’ve ever seen, and even brings back Dragon Pokemon to the game! I could go on and on, but this set is absolutely amazing so let’s soar into these great cards!

Reviewing New Fusion Pokémon Pt. 2

Reviewing New Fusion Pokémon Pt. 2

Hey, what’s good PTCGO Store readers? Have you read my last article on the Fusion Pokemon cards  - New Fusion Pokemon #1? If you haven’t, you totally should because this article will be showcasing some different Fusion Pokemon. These cards are similar to Single Strike and Rapid Strike Pokemon because it has a “Fusion” stamp that lets everyone know it’s “style”. These cards are releasing in Japan and we will eventually get them everywhere else later in 2021. I’m personally hyped because these cards remind me of Tag Team Pokemon mixed with SP Pokemon (yeah, I’ve been playing that long) so I have high hopes for the future of the game! While these cards aren’t out quite yet, you can still always pick up some PTCGO codes for other sets right here at PTCGO Store. On top of that, you can use code “zlesage5” to save 5% on your next order. Continuing on from my last article, let’s check out some more of these cards!
