Arceus & Dialga & Palkia Pokemon TCGWhat’s up everyone? It’s your binge-writing pal Zach Lesage here and I am writing about ザシアン V (Sword and Shield) / Arceus & Dialga & Palkia-GX (Cosmic Eclipse) today! I have been testing this deck for countless hours on Pokemon TCG Online and I have to say that is one of the best decks you can play right now! I will admit that you need a decent bit of Pokemon codes to build this deck, but we sell plenty of it on this website! As an awesome bonus, you can use promo code zlesage5 to save 5% on your next order of PTCGO codes at our web shop! That being said, you should be able to find all of the necessary codes to build this deck up quickly on Pokemon Trading Card Game Online after browsing the site! The deck works by using Altered Creation GX on Arceus & Dialga & Palkia-GX (Cosmic Eclipse) to do extra damage and draw extra Prize Cards! The deck gains consistency with cards like ジラーチ (Team Up), ザシアン V (Sword and Shield), and Oranguru (Sword and Shield). After you use Altered Creation GX, the next step is to use Ultimate Ray to power up your attacking Pokemon, such as Zacian V (Sword and Shield), and try to win the game as quickly as possible. Most lists will play cards like Custom Catcher (Lost Thunder) and / or Great Catcher (Cosmic Eclipse) to help bring the Prize Card trader even more in your favor by allowing you to Knock Out Pokemon that are worth more Prize Cards than others. Between the unparalleled strength of Altered Creation GX and the consistent engine that supports this deck, it has quickly become one of the most popular Pokemon TCG decks of all time! Let’s look at the list I have come up with and see how it works below! Build your own deck and get Pokemon code cards here!

Card Explanation

In this section of the article, I will go over what the important Pokemon code cards in the deck do! Some cards, such as Professor’s Research (Sword and Shield), are merely consistency cards that many decks play and I will not be explaining them for that reason!

Zacian-V / Dedenne-GX / Jirachi / Oranguru

Zacian V Pokemon TCG

These are the cards that allow this deck to do what it wants. Many online players look at Zacian V (Sword and Shield) and see how powerful Brave Blade is. When you combine that attack with Metal Saucer (Sword and Shield), you can be attacking as early as the first turn! What I truly like about this card is Intrepid Sword! Drawing cards, accelerating Energy, and more importantly getting setup for success! If you use this Pokemon code card in combination with other consistency crutches, such as Dedenne-GX (Unbroken Bonds), your deck should setup every single time! Jirachi (Team Up) adds another layer of consistency because of Stellar Wish! When you look at all of these cards together, we can draw lots of cards, grab Trainers, and accelerate Energy! What more can we ask for? Well, we have one more consistency card, Oranguru (Sword and Shield)! This card is fairly unique in the game, but that is due to it being extremely versatile! You can use it to pseudo-draw the next card from your deck, which can help if you need to attach an Energy to Arceus & Dialga & Palkia-GX (Cosmic Eclipse), or to save something for a future turn! You can use it to put cards that aren’t necessary in a certain matchup on top of your deck, and then use Cherish Ball (Unified Minds), to shuffle that card away from the top! There are plenty of cute ways to abuse Oranguru (Sword and Shield) so be sure to play many games on Pokemon TCG Online to experiment with this code card!

Arceus & Dialga & Palkia-GX / Quick Ball / Cherish Ball / Energy Spinner

The main goal of this deck is to use Altered Creation GX on Arceus & Dialga & Palkia-GX (Cosmic Eclipse) as early as possible! In most games, the goal is to win in as little as four turns. On your first turn, you want to attach an Energy to Arceus & Dialga & Palkia-GX (Cosmic Eclipse) and use Zacian V (Sword and Shield) to draw some cards! On the next turn, you want to attach another Energy to use Altered Creation GX! Once you are able to draw extra Prize Cards because of Altered Creation GX, you want to isolate two Pokemon that will allow you to win the game in two turns! Popular Pokémon for this task include Dedenne-GX (Unbroken Bonds), Zacian V (Sword and Shield), and Oricorio-GX (Cosmic Eclipse). Pokemon that are normally worth two Prize Cards are now worth three due to Altered Creation GX which means you only need to Knock Out two Pokemon to draw six Prize Cards! All of the other cards in this category, such as Quick Ball (Sword and Shield) or Cherish Ball (Unified Minds), are there to help you search for Arceus & Dialga & Palkia-GX (Cosmic Eclipse) or search for cards that will allow you to get setup! Energy Spinner (Unbroken Bonds) helps this deck search out Energy so that we can guarantee an attachment on the first turn! It is sometimes difficult to naturally draw into it, but Jirachi (Team Up) can extend our reach with Stellar Wish! All of these cards in combination with the consistency crutches make this one of the most consistent decks available to play on PTCGO!

Mawile-GX / Phione / Custom Catcher / Great Catcher

Great Catcher Pokemon TCG

As explained above, the main strategy of this deck is to use Altered Creation GX as soon as possible and then draw Prize Cards rapidly! With the cards in this section, you can often choose which Pokeon you want to Knock Out or force your opponent into awkward situations. Mawile-GX (Unified Minds) is an all around tech that is mostly played to use Captivating Wink. That Ability is a great way to force your opponent into Benching Pokemon that they never wanted to play and is a great way to get around Galarian Obstagoon (Sword and Shield). If your opponent is carefully hiding two Prize Card Pokemon in their hand, such as Blacephalon-GX (Lost Thunder), you can use Captivating Wink to bring them to your opponents Bench! Phione (Cosmic Eclipse) is a great way to get around Lillie’s Pokédoll (Cosmic Eclipse) chilling in the Active Spot and it can force your opponent to bring up a Pokemon that they weren’t expecting to bring up! It’s a pseudo-gust effect that can give you an advantage out of nowhere! Custom Catcher (Lost Thunder) is one of the few ways to bring up any Pokemon you want, but it comes at the cost of playing two cards at once! Luckily for us, this deck has a plenty of ways to draw cards, which makes it much easier to acquire two Custom Catcher (Lost Thunder). If your opponent is forced into Benching GX Pokemon or if they aren’t too worried about the effects of Altered Creation GX, Great Catcher (Cosmic Eclipse), is an amazing way to bring up what you want! The only issue is that with Sword and Shield, GX Pokemon are of a past generation which means V Pokemon are difficult to bring up in general! That is why the Pokemon online deck only plays one copy of Great Catcher (Cosmic Eclipse) because GX Pokemon will eventually get played to lesser amounts! Regardless, having the opportunity to bring up and attack whichever Pokemon you like is a key asset to this deck! If you need your Pokemon codes, click here.

Absol / Marnie / Reset Stamp

Who doesn’t like a little disruption in their life? The cards in this category can hurt your opponent in different ways by running their hand or causing them to pass! Absol (Team Up) is one of the most annoying Pokemon because it adds an additional cost to Retreating your Pokemon from the Active Spot! It is mainly played because it is hard to think of a deck that doesn’t play multiple copies of Jirachi (Team Up) and that is why it is so good! They normally get around the Retreat Cost and Sleep Condition by using Escape Board (Ultra Prism) or Switch (Celestial Storm), but let’s go through a few scenarios. If they only have Escape Board (Ultra Prism), how are they going to Retreat when Absol (Team Up) gives them an additional Retreat Cost? They are either going to be forced to give up their attachment for the turn, find a Switch (Sun and Moon), or pass! Even if they find a Switch (Evolutions), they can only play four copies of the card and it is difficult to find sometimes! If you mix this with cards, such as Marnie (Sword and Shield), it is difficult to hold onto the cards in your hand! And if you have started to slip against your opponent in terms of Prize Cards, Reset Stamp (Unified Minds) can whittle their hand into nothing. So between the heightened Retreat Cost for Basic Pokemon and the hand disruption in general, your opponent will have to get lucky at some points during the game. All of these factors together can cause your opponent to have a poor turn and for you to jump ahead in the match!

Well, that’s a wrap for today everyone! I have given you the necessary insight to pilot this deck to success during your next Pokemon TCG Online game and I have provided a solid list for you to build! If you are missing any of the cards for this deck, feel free to head on over to PTCGOStore.com and pick up the necessary Pokemon code cards to build this deck! As an added bonus, you can use my promo code, zlesage5, to save 5% off your order upon checkout. I have fully enjoyed myself as I wrote this article, tested games online, and built this online deck. My one hope is that the next PTCG-O tournament I play in doesn’t feature exclusively decks that consist of Zacian V (Sword and Shield) and Arceus & Dialga & Palkia-GX (Cosmic Eclipse)! I plan on writing about a few more decks that exist in this current metagame so keep your eyes peeled for future articles that come out from me on this website! Until then, thanks for reading and have fun playing this great game!
